today some photos from the last few days.
It's the end of October 2024 and all the plants are still in the outdoor dining area.
No frost or snow in view.
I have only installed additional rain protection for some of the plants.
If the large pots are wet through and through, they won't dry out until March.

Wow, was für eine Blütenpracht! Einfach wunderschön. Lithopse sind überhaupt toll. An die traue ich mich aber noch nicht heran.

Ja, das waren Knospen aus dem letzten Jahr.
Trotz Lichtmangel hat die erhöhte Raumtemperatur, ca. max. 18°C die Blüte ausgelöst.

Guten Abend liebe PflanzenfreundInnen,

heute habe ich Haworthia & Co zu ersten Mal seit Nov. 2024 gegossen.
Die Pflanzen lebten bis Anfang Dezember in der Außengastronomie.

Seitdem "wohnen" sie im Anlehngewächshaus bei minimal + 6°C.
In der Regel trägt die Temperatur aber um die + 10°C.

Meine paar Haworthia & Co. stehen unter dem Dachzimmerfenster und Wintergarten bei etwa 15°C, ab und zu gibt es einen Schluck Wasser.

Good evening dear cacti-friends,
after a few mild rainy days it was very sunny today - albeit cold.
Frost at night and little above 0°C / 32°F during the day.
So Beate and I took advantage of the sunshine and walked to the Botanical Gardens,
not far from our house.
Even eight years after the demolition of the previous buildings, the greenhouses are still not open.

The zoo is next to the garden, just across a small road.
So we were able to use our annual tickets for the zoo again.
