Miquelopuntia

Getting opuntioids to germinate is a challenge - often. I have thoug had succes with most generas but have always failed with the genus Miquelopuntia.

Now I got my hands in a number of locality seeds of this spiny gem. Anyone on this list have had succes with the species and knows how to convince the seeds to germinate?

Hi Martin,

This Species germinate like Austrocylindropuntia(shaferi) as well.
I sow from different Sources and have a good succses with it.
Ist a non Problem Species to sow if you have higher Temparatures in the Daytime.

Maybe I have just been unlucky. Anyway, with 10-15 new locations on hand, there ought to be some that will germinate, I will expose them to the real warm section of my germination table next summer.
